In the 1980s, Claire Cohen studied physics and chemistry and then worked in the electricity industry, firstly in an engineering role and then as a consultant working on the development of energy markets in the UK and around the world.
The opportunity to devote some time to developing an art practise resulted in studies at the Bristol School of Art. This was followed by some time focusing on working with a number of printmaking techniques which ultimately lead to a Masters Degree in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at UWE
Claire has been working as a professional artist since 2014 and her work is held in private collections around the world.
Claire lives and works in Bristol, UK and is a member of the artists’ groups Out of Print Collective and ‘Group C’ Artists
